SMS Terms & Consent

Overview

This page describes how Taam ERP collects consent for and manages SMS (text message) communications with our business partners, including location managers and suppliers/vendors.

📱 Who Receives SMS Notifications?

SMS notifications are sent only to:

Location Managers - Store and location managers registered in our system
Suppliers/Vendors - Business partners who supply products and services

Note: We do not send marketing messages to customers through this service.

How Consent is Collected

The SMS consent checkbox appears unchecked by default. Users must actively select it to opt-in.

🔒 Compliance Note: As shown in the screenshots above, the SMS consent checkbox is never pre-selected or pre-checked. Users must take affirmative action to opt-in to SMS notifications.

✅ Explicit Consent Language

The following consent statement is displayed and must be agreed to before SMS is enabled:

"I agree to receive text messages (SMS) from Taam ERP regarding business notifications including: new orders, payment confirmations, inventory alerts, and operational updates. Message frequency varies based on business activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time."

This consent is separate from other terms and is prominently displayed during registration.

📱 SMS Keyword Opt-In

Users can also opt-in by texting a keyword to our number:

Text START or YES

Opt-In Confirmation Message sent after subscribing:

"Taam ERP: You are now subscribed to business notifications for orders, payments, and inventory alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."

Sample Messages

Examples of messages that may be sent:

"Taam ERP: New order PO-2024-055. Kindly process as soon as possible. Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe."
"Taam ERP: Payment of $1,500.00 sent for invoice PO-2024-043. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
"Taam ERP: All items received for PO-2024-038. Thank you! Reply STOP to opt-out."

How to Opt-Out

🛑 Stop Receiving Messages

You can opt-out of SMS notifications at any time using either method:

Method 1: Reply to any message with:

STOP UNSUBSCRIBE CANCEL

Opt-Out Confirmation Message:

"Taam ERP: You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages. Reply START to resubscribe."

Method 2: Disable SMS notifications in your account settings within the Taam ERP system.

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications.

ℹ️ Help Response

Reply HELP to any message to receive:

"Taam ERP: For assistance, contact your account manager or email support@Alshaiff.com. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from business alerts."

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on business activity. Messages are sent only when relevant business events occur (such as new orders or payments). This is not a recurring marketing campaign.

Standard Rates Apply

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Taam ERP does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may apply standard messaging rates.
